We have been conducting these types of courses for the last 20 years. The courses will be tailor-made for your companies needs.

This course is for the people in the office and crew onboard.
 
The course will include the following:
  • Types of LK-gas carriers
  • IMO-rules
  • IGC code (the short and necessary version)
  • Properties of gases (Propane, Butane, Propylene, 1-Butene (Raffinate), Butadiene, Crude C4, VCM and Ethylene)
Properties of gases (cont.)
Thermodynamic laws and processes. (Relation between temperature and pressure)
Piping in tanks and domes.
 
Re-liquefaction system (“Normal” LPG and ethylene).
Other relevant cargo handling equipment, - including cargo heater, vaporiser and booster pumps.
Cooling down of cargo during loading/voyage.
Maintaining temperature during loaded voyage.
Factors influencing on the re-liquefaction process (suction pressure, SW temperature, outdoor temp. etc.)
Cooling down of cargo during loading/voyage (cont.)
Change of cargo.
Full cargo cycle (Unloading, liquid freeing, warming up, gas freeing, ventilating cargo tanks, tank inspection, inerting (N2), purging with cargo vapour, cooling down, loading)
Other use of hot gas.
